The worst part is the quote from the anonymous government official who claims to not have authority to do anything, but does control the dog population in similar affairs...
On second thought, I will pass on the "authentic" pu pu platter that I requested.

Eat at Lucy's in Guangzhou. They have pretty western, really good food there and I'm pretty sure there's no cat on the menu. At least if we did eat cat, it was well disguised. I had chicken...well, at least it tasted like chicken ;) Seriously, it is a welcome respite if you're tired of Chinese food and you are sure to meet other Americans with Chinese babies there.
